ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS:

It’s very refreshing to finally see a superhero movie that isn’t about saving everyone everywhere. The fate of the world can’t always be on the line, and sometimes we should just be having fun at the theater. That’s exactly what we get here, and it works perfectly coming off the heels of Infinity War. It’s a story about relationships between parents and children, and the lengths each will go in order to save the other, even when their actions might result in losing them. The scenes between Lang and his daughter are wonderful, and I hope they get to revisit that relationship in the future. Once again, Michael Peña and the crew of ex-thieves provide loads of comic relief and help the movie retain its air of neverending fun. Hannah John-Kamen is great in ver villainous turn, and Laurence Fishburne fits perfectly into his supporting role. This is a good time no matter how you slice it, and a great way to spend a few hours of your summer.
