There’s not much to say about this one, as it’s not the kind of movie you go into looking to analyze. It’s a delightfully zany send-up of Zero Hour, throwing absolutely everything it can against the wall over the 85 minute runtime. Thankfully, a whole lot of it sticks, and the result is a really, really damn funny movie. Even at my first time seeing it, I imagine it holds up well, with the rapid-fire nature of the humor. It seems like the kind of thing you can rewatch and still pickup new jokes and background gags every time. Even though I’ve heard so much over the years, I was still surprised how hard I laughed at this. I’m not a historian on spoof comedies, but I imagine this is probably the measuring stick.
