HAIKU REVIEW

Wonderful Music;
Simple and Heartfelt Story;
Nothing Ground-Breaking.

RATING:
**Watch in Theater Immediately**
Pickup at Redbox
Stream on Netflix/Watch on Cable
Don’t Waste Your Time

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS:

The chemistry between the two leads is phenomenal. It keeps the movie engaging when it could otherwise have gotten slow or hit a lull. The only real criticism that I have is that the story is formulaic and predictable. Outside of that, I loved everything about this movie. It brought a smile to my face early on and kept it there for the entirety of its brisk 97 minute run-time. Hearts Beat Loud is a feel good movie with heart that, despite its simplicity, succeeds in every facet.
